Through this portal, the Haryana government has invited online applications for 3224 new ration depots across the state. What makes this initiative noteworthy is the government’s decision to provide 33 percent reservation to women, granting them licenses for a total of 2382 ration depots.

This move marks a positive change as the government encourages the active participation of women in the distribution of essential commodities. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online for the ration depot licenses until August 7, 2023. Eligibility Criteria for Haryana Ration Depot License Application:

1. Residency: The applicant must be a permanent resident of the locality for which they are applying for the fair price shop license.

2. Educational Qualification: The minimum educational qualification required is 10+2 (12th pass).

3. Age Requirement: The applicant should be at least 21 years old and not exceed 45 years of age.

4. Family Income: The family income of the beneficiary should be less than Rs. 1.80 lakh per annum, as verified in the Family Information Data Repository (FIDR) database.

5. Family ID/Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP): The applicant must have a valid Family ID or Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) number.

6. Age Group: The beneficiary should be above 5 years of age and up to 60 years of age.

7. Basic Computer Diploma: Candidates must possess a Basic Computer Diploma to be eligible for the Haryana Ration Depot license application.

8. Local Residency: To apply for the Haryana Ration Depot, the applicant must be a resident of the respective ward or village where they wish to operate the fair price shop.

9. Computer Knowledge: Applicants should have basic knowledge of computer operation.

• 1. Family ID, Photograph & Signature of Applicant, Basic Computer Course Certificate.
• 2. Address Proof: Proof of residency in the locality for which the fair price shop license is applied for.
• 3. For Groups like Self Help Group and Sakshar Mahila Samuh: The condition of 10+2 pass and age will not apply.
• 4. Undertaking: An undertaking regarding the sound financial condition of the applicant.
• 5. Non-Relatives Declaration: The applicant must not be a relative of an existing Sarpanch/Panch in rural areas and MC/Deputy Mayor/Mayor/President/Vice-President in urban areas.
• 6. No Criminal Case Declaration: Undertaking regarding no pending criminal case or EC Act case against the applicant.
• 7. No Conviction Declaration: Undertaking declaring that the applicant has not been convicted in any criminal case.
• 8. Identity Proof: Aadhar Card, Pan Card, etc., for identity verification.
• 9. No Other FPS Allotment: Undertaking stating that no family member has been allotted another Fair Price Shop.
• 10. Panchayat Resolution: A resolution from the Panchayat in favor of the applicant, duly forwarded by the concerned BDPO.
• 11. Not a Government Servant: Proof that the applicant is not a government servant or on a contractual basis, and not receiving any government pension (Income Proof provided by all candidates).
• 12. Chowkidar Verification Certificate: Proclamation Certificate of Chowkidar verified from the village Panchayat/MC.
• 13. Map of the Proposed Place: A map of the proposed place for the Fair Price Shop.
• 14. Caste Certificate: Caste certificate for eligible candidates, if applicable.
• 15. Rent Agreement: In case of a rented property, the rent agreement needs to be provided.
